We’re up North for Christmas this year. This is the first white Christmas that The Wife and I have shared since we met in ’99. I think it’s probably the first Christmas that I’ve experienced that has had a reasonable amount of snow in the past 6 years or so.
We’ve been taking advantage of the snow as best we can, and yesterday decided to hit the slopes and try our hand at snowboarding. This is the third time that I’d been (but the first two don’t really count for much) and the first time for The Wife. We only managed one run each, but it took an hour (two for some of us) so it was definitely worth the trip up.
In other news, I can’t lift my arms, or legs, or upper body for that matter. Rolling works well.
