What does one do in Vancouver for Canada day?
I am under the impression that Vancouver is a boring city. It seems to avoid big events like Canada Day, or the Turn of the Millinium (Lou Bega. Really, is that the best they could do?).
So far, the most exciting things I’ve heard of are:
* the horse races
* the Steveston Smoked Salmon Festival
* random Granville Island stuff
* possible fireworks in English Bay
If anyone has any better ideas, I’m open to suggestions.
